Jackie Nguyen

Volunteer Coordinator

My name is Jacquelynn Nguyen, and I am a uprising senior at Jenks High School with a strong passion for leadership, community involvement, and helping others. For the past two years, I have proudly served as a class officer, first as secretary and currently as treasurer, where I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills while supporting student activities and events. Through my involvement with Student Council, I have also helped organize and support fundraising efforts, including raising money for Tulsa Hills Youth Ranch, which strengthened my commitment to service and teamwork. I am actively involved in organizations such as National Honor Society, Key Club, FCCLA, Drug Free Youth, and the International Scholars Program, all of which have further developed my leadership and service skills. One cause that is especially meaningful to me is supporting children in foster care and families facing hardship, which is why I deeply connect with Kee’s Kloset, an organization that provides high-quality clothing for teens in foster care throughout Tulsa. Through volunteering with Jenks Closet, donating winter coats, helping organize food bank supplies, and working with Tulsa’s Youth Ranch, I have seen how meaningful even small acts of support can be. These experiences have taught me empathy, responsibility, and the importance of creating a positive impact within my community, while also strengthening my ability to work collaboratively with others.
